Selfie Tragedy: Young Indian Killed by Elephant

Good. In India, a 23-year-old man named Srikant Sattri died when he attempted to take a selfie with a 4.5-tonne elephant in Abapurana forest, not far from the village of Gadchiroli in the state of Maharashtra.

This incident occurred after a similar incident happened in September last year when a pregnant woman was killed after being attacked by a herd of elephants in Indonesia.

According to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, around 400 people are killed every year in India as a result of conflicts with elephants, animals that react aggressively only when they feel threatened or are protecting their young.
