A resident of Noida, India, has filed a police complaint against her husband and his family, accusing them of deception. According to the woman, she married Sanyam Jain in January 2024. After the wedding, she discovered that she had been misled on several points. Her husband claimed to have a bachelor's degree in commerce, but in reality, he had only completed 12th grade. He also lied about his income, claiming it to be 1.8 lakh rupees ($20,000). Furthermore, the woman stated that she was promised a man with thick hair, but her husband was actually bald and wore a wig to conceal it. She alleged that during a trip abroad, her husband assaulted her and pressured her to smuggle marijuana from Thailand to India. The initial police report states that Jain and his family concealed numerous details about his appearance, education, and financial status.
