India to Cut Water Supply to Pakistan

Earlier today, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that his country "will cut off water supplies" from rivers, the sources of which are located in India and which flow into Pakistan.

Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of stopping water supplies to Pakistan and promised to utilize every drop of water that is available from Indian territory for domestic needs. The Prime Minister expressed confidence in the need to ensure Indian farmers have greater access to water for irrigation.

"Our goal is that every drop of water that is currently flowing into Pakistan, stays on our fields and benefits Indian farmers," Modi emphasized.
