Indian police have revealed details of a gruesome crime in the state of Karnataka, where a 27-year-old man killed his parents and sister to seize bank deposit funds. According to investigations, the accused committed the crime inside the family home in the Harapanahalli area on January 27, before burying the bodies at the house and traveling to Bangalore, where he filed a false report about their disappearance to divert suspicion. Police stated that the accused's father had sold a house and deposited part of the proceeds in his daughter's name for her education, while the son demanded the money to fund his own project, but the family refused. Investigations confirmed the motive was financial. The accused and his uncle, suspected of incitement, have been detained, and a formal case has been opened against them.
