India announced on Sunday the successful launch of its first hyperspectral satellite. It was launched from an island in the eastern coastal region of the country.
Experts note that hyperspectral weapons can develop speeds of more than five times the speed of sound. It is considered that this significantly increases the preference in military conflicts.
"This is a historic day for our country and nation. The rocket successfully achieved its goal, confirming a high level of precision and technology used in this project," reported the Indian Space Research Organization.
