
According to Indian media reports, on Thursday, six people died as a result of a helicopter crash in the Jharkhand region of Uttarakhand state, and one more person was injured.
Eyewitnesses reported that the helicopter fell in a dense forest area in the Djangani region. Preliminary data indicates that there were seven people on board, including the pilot and passengers. The cause of the crash has not yet been established, and an investigation has begun.
"We successfully rescued one survivor, who has been transported to the nearest hospital for medical treatment," rescuers reported.
The state authorities expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and promised to provide all necessary assistance to the survivor.
