India Cancels Flights Amid Tensions with Pakistan

Today, in the evening, Indian armed forces attacked Pakistan with missiles, which led to the temporary closure of more than 200 airports and temporarily affected the closure of at least 18 airports, including Srinagar Airport. As reported by the Indian agency Press Trust of India, airlines "Air India", "IndiGo", "SpiceJet", "Air India Express", and "Akasa Air" along with foreign airlines suspended their flights to various airports. Sources claim that 18 airports in the north and west of the country were temporarily closed.

In Islamabad, the Pakistani government announced that Indian rocket attacks on Pakistani territory are considered acts of military aggression, compelling the country's army to respond to them. The National Security Committee of Pakistan characterized the Indian missile attacks as evident hostile actions and promised to respond to them during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. In a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, it is stated: "These illegal actions are a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan and represent an unequivocal military act according to international law." "Pakistani armed forces were instructed to take necessary measures on this issue."

In another context, Pakistan restored access to the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, without the use of virtual private networks (VPNs), lifting restrictions from the social platform. Users on the X platform reported that the social network is now accessible without the need for proxy services, according to the Pakistani newspaper The Nation in the evening. It is worth noting that the X social network was blocked in Pakistan and was no longer accessible without a VPN. This happened at the time when India was conducting attacks on Pakistan across the LoC.
