A Ferris wheel collapsed at an amusement park in India during operation. The ride started in a normal manner before a horrific accident occurred, leaving numerous victims. According to The Sun, passengers heard a grinding sound coming from the metal structure, then the wheel gradually tilted to one side before falling from an estimated height of 60 feet. The incident resulted in about 30 people being injured, including women and children. At least 10 people in critical condition were taken to the hospital, while dozens were trapped under the rubble after the collapse. Reports indicate that about 80 people were on the ride at the time of the fall.
